It was fun fair and historic moment at the Internal Displaced Persons Camp in Uhogua, Edo State as the game of Cricket takes center stage.
The Camp which currently accommodates over 4,000 Displaced Persons from the worst attacked North-East Region of the Country by Boko Haram insurgents saw 196 children interested in the game of Cricket.
Highlights of the event was the formal presentation of Cricket bats and balls by Abraham Oviawe Esq., the Vice Chairman, Edo State Cricket Association (ESCA) to the Organization (International Christian Centre) for the continuous training cum playing of the game.
Thanks to Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) and Edo State Cricket Association for partnering with Community Sports and Education Development (CSED) at a time and season like this.
It featured Coaching Clinic and a Ceremonial Match in honor of those who lost their lives as a result of Insurgency.
